GREENVILLE, S.C.  (April 8, 2024) – The ETSU men's tennis team battled back from an early deficit to knock off Furman on Monday by a score of 4-3. With Monday's victory, the Bucs move back to the .500 mark overall at 9-9 and boosts their SoCon record to 6-0.
 
Furman jumped out to an early lead on the Bucs in Monday's match. The Paladins secured the doubles point and then two of the first three singles matches that completed to go up 3-1. However, the Bucs received clutch performances from Dimitri Badra, Peter Kalocsai and Pedro Cressoni as they each won their respective matches to bring ETSU back to take the match. Badra's win in the No. 1 singles spot proved to be the match-deciding point.

ETSU will close out its regular season on Wednesday when it visits The Citadel. First serve between the Bucs and Bulldogs is set for 3 p.m.
