ETSU is coming off back-to-back wins over Wofford (5-2) and Mercer (6-1). With those victories, the Bucs are now 6-9 overall and 3-0 in SoCon play. Entering Saturday's match with the Bulldogs, senior
Dimitri Badra is riding a five-match winning streak in singles action and is 8-4 overall.
Samford, meanwhile, is not only undefeated in SoCon play like ETSU (4-0) but it also boasts the highest winning percentage of any SoCon team this spring as its overall record checks in at 12-4 (.750 winning percentage). The Bulldogs already have their most wins in a season since 2021 and boasts a perfect 6-0 record at home this spring.
Since 2015, the Buccaneers have not lost a match to Samford. ETSU is 12-0 against the Bulldogs during that span, including a 4-0 record in Birmingham.
