SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 12, 2024) – The Southern Conference announced on Tuesday that ETSU men's tennis player Dimitri Badra was named the SoCon Player of the Week. It is the third weekly honor for the Bucs this season and the 14^th SoCon Player of the Week recognition for Badra, which is the most of any player in conference history.
 
Badra led the way for the Bucs last week. In a matchup against No. 69 Stetson, Badra picked up a three-set win out of the No. 1 singles position (5-7, 6-4, 1-0 {10-4}). With that victory, Badra currently leads the Bucs with five singles wins this spring. 
 
Badra and the rest of the Bucs will return to action on Thursday when it visits No. 46 FAU. First serve for that contest is set for 5 p.m.
