NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 3, 2024) – The ETSU men's tennis team picked up its second consecutive win on Saturday as it defeated Belmont by a score of 5-2. With Saturday's victory, the Buccaneers get their record back to the .500 mark on the season at 3-3.
ETSU won a pair of doubles matches to begin Saturday's action. The duo of
Milledge Cossu and
Adam Nagoudi won their tilt by a score of 6-4 before
Dimitri Badra and
Francisco Lamas clinched the doubles point for the Bucs with a 6-3 win.
In singles, the Bucs went 4-2 on the day. Badra's three-set win out of the No. 1 singles spot was the match clincher for the Bucs. On top of Badra's singles win,
Pedro Cressoni,
Alberto Garcia and Lamas also picked up individual wins against the Bruins.
