SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Feb. 27, 2024) – The Southern Conference announced on Tuesday that ETSU men's tennis player Dimitri Badra was named the SoCon Player of the Week. It is the second weekly honor for the Bucs this season and the 13^th SoCon Player of the Week recognition for Badra, which is the most of any player in conference history.
 
Badra led the way for ETSU as it got back into the win column with a 6-1 victory over UNC Greensboro. Badra won his singles match out of the No. 1 position (6-1, 3-6, 7-5) and teamed up with Adam Nagoudi to win in doubles (7-6). 
 
Badra and ETSU will be back in action on Thursday when they host Elon in a non-conference match. First serve between the Bucs and Phoenix is set for 2 p.m.
