JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2024) – The ETSU men's tennis team will open its SoCon schedule on Monday when it hosts UNC Greensboro in Johnson City. First serve between the Buccaneers and Spartans is set for 2 p.m.
 
ETSU's record stands at 3-6 this season following three straight losses to UNC Asheville, Gardner-Webb, and UNC Wilmington by identical 4-1 scores. The Bucs will look to get back into the win column in league play. Since 2019, the Bucs are a combined 28-2 in conference play.
 
UNCG enters Monday's match with the Bucs with a 3-3 record on the season. The Spartans have won their last two matches over Radford (7-0) and Queens (4-3) and they also own a win against Belmont Abbey earlier this spring.
 
ETSU has held the edge historically against the Spartans winning 12 of the 13 all-time matchups. UNCG will be looking for its first win against ETSU since 2001.
