ROME, Ga. (Nov. 9, 2024) – ETSU men's tennis players Francisco Lamas and Martin Garcia-Ripoll recently wrapped up play at the ITA Conference Masters Championship.
 
The tandem from ETSU, who were the SoCon's doubles representative for this tournament, pushed both of their matches to three sets.
 
Lamas and Garcia-Ripoll won both first sets in their two matches. Unfortunately, Portland's Nikola Keremedchiev and Stefan Skobelev rallied to win the first-round matchup on Thursday. Playing in the consolation bracket against Richmond's Davis Wiley and Cole Brashear, the Bucs gained the advantage early before their opponents rallied to pick up the win.

With the fall season completed, the Bucs will now prepare for their spring season beginning in January 2025.
