MACON, Ga. (Oct. 31, 2024) – The No. 23 ETSU football team will face one of its toughest tests of the season this Saturday as it travels to take on No. 12 Mercer.
No. 1 – Kickoff - Saturday's game will kickoff at 3:02 p.m. ET at Five Star Stadium.
No. 2 – Broadcast Information - The Buccaneer Sports Network (BSN) will provide ETSU fans with complete pregame, in-game and postgame coverage on the Bucs' flagship station WXSM-AM 640 and those with HD radio can listen on 101.5 WQUT HD-2.

BSN begins its pregame programming one hour and 30 minutes prior to kickoff with the 30-minute Tennessee Lottery Tailgate Show, followed by the Pregame Show presented by Lafayette Heat & Air, which will lead up to 30 minutes prior to kickoff. The Appalachian Orthopedic Countdown to Kickoff will then lead into the final moments before kickoff.

At halftime, the crew will have the Hometown Plumbing Halftime Show, while fans can tune into the Mullican Flooring Post Game Show for a full wrap up, with game statistics, players and coach interviews and other post-game information.

ESPN+ with the team of Frank Malloy (play-by-play) and Phil Cox (analyst) will be on the call.

No. 6 – Series History – The Bucs will aim to derail Mercer's stellar home field advantage this Saturday. Since the start of 2020, the Bears are 21-4 in Macon. With that said, the series between ETSU and Mercer has been competitive with the Bears holding the slight edge winning five of the nine matchups. ETSU is 1-4 all-time in Macon with its lone win coming by a score of 21-18 on November 3, 2018. That victory clinched the Bucs a share of a SoCon regular season championship. In last season's game between these two programs, the Bears came away with a 24-3 win over the Bucs in Johnson City. 17 of Mercer's 24 points came in the second quarter and former Bear wide receiver Ty James caught a school record 14 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns to spark the win for Mercer.
