SALEM, Va. (Oct. 19, 2024) – Making its final tune-up before next month's Southern Conference Championship, the ETSU men's cross country team compete at the Roanoke Invitational on Saturday morning at Green Hill Park in Salem, Va.
 
The Blue & Gold were paced by Nolan Pedota as the Buccaneer runner finished 19th with a time of 25:33.7.
 
Ben Kenner and Hayden Waleski also completed the 8K race on Saturday. Kenner placed 32nd in 26:24.0 and Waleski placed 38th with a time of 26:30.9. Waleski set a personal best on the course at Green Hill Park.
 
The top four runners were unattached with Ryan Fowkes winning the race with a time of 24:08.4. Radford's Maxton Sowers was the top runner from a team to cross the finish line as he posted a mark of 24:34.6.

The Bucs now turn their attention to the Southern Conference Championship, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 in Greenville, S.C.
