CHARLESTON, S.C. (Oct. 16, 2024) – East Tennessee State University women's golf concluded the Edisto Island Invitational on Tuesday.
Sophomore
Brianna Castaldi finished at 7-over after an even par final round to place 12th among the 90 individuals competing for the best performance by a Buccaneer.
Senior
Alex Crafton posted a three round score of +15, and ETSU finished 12th as a team at the tournament.
Host College of Charleston won the team competition after shooting +11 over the two-day competition. Northern Arizona finished second, and Georgia State and Jacksonville tied for third to round out the top three. Pariya Sanpanawat (Georgia State) won the individual competition after shooting 5-under. Susana Olivares (Jacksonville) and Emma Schimpf (Charleston) joined her under par, as both shot 2-under. No other golfers finished the weekend under par.
