Men's Basketball to hold Open Practice Oct. 7; Meet the Team event to be held Oct. 18

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 27, 2023) – With the ETSU men's and women's basketball teams beginning official practice for the 2023-24 season this week, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics released information on Wednesday for upcoming events surrounding both programs. 

In the month of October, there will be chances to see the teams on the court and interact with coaches and players from both programs. Below is information regarding next month's events.   

MEN'S BASKETBALL OPEN PRACTICE PRESENTED BY JOHNSON CITY HONDA

Fans can get their first look at the men's basketball team on Homecoming as the Bucs will hold an open practice on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 12-1 p.m. inside the Basler Center of Physical Activity (CPA). 

This event, presented by Johnson City Honda, is free and open to the general public. The Bucs will hold a live scrimmage with officials during this one-hour event. 

MEET THE TEAM BROUGHT TO YOU BY JOHNSON CITY HONDA

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, both the men's and women's basketball programs will be together at "Meet the Team" brought to you by Johnson City Honda. This free event will be held from 6-8 p.m. inside the Basler Center of Physical Activity CPA where fans can come and interact with the players and coaches from both teams. 

More details regarding the event will be released at a later date.

Season tickets for ETSU men's and women's basketball are currently available. Tickets can be purchased by visiting ETSUTickets.com or call 423-439-3878. Tickets start at $50 for the women and $125 for the men.
