VERONA, Wis. (Sept. 19, 2023) – The ETSU women's golf team wrapped up play at the Badger Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at University Ridge Golf Course in Verona, Wis.
Sophie Bert (Deurle, Belgium) paced the Bucs as she finished tied for 26th at 6-over-par 222. Bert totaled eight birdies and 34 pars over the three-day, 54-hole tournament.
University of Texas at San Antonio's Camryn Carreon earned medalist honors by finishing at 9-under-par 207. Carreon, who shot a 2-under 70 on Tuesday, held off New Mexico's Emma Bunch by one shot. Bunch recorded a 5-under 67 in the final round to finish at 8-under-par 208.
South Florida won the team title as they finished at 4-under-par 860. Wisconsin, the tournament host, finished runner-up at 9-over-par 873, while Delaware placed third at 10-over-par 874.
ETSU finished the tournament at 47-over-par 911.
Grace Chin (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) carded the Bucs' best round on Tuesday as she registered at 3-over 75.
The Bucs return to action next week when they head to Colorado for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, beginning Monday, Sept. 25.
