East Tennessee State University

Josh Petty begins his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at East Tennessee State University working with the football and men’s tennis programs.

Prior to ETSU, Josh served as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Louisiana Tech, working with football and women’s bowling. In the summer of 2017, he had the opportunity to complete an internship with the NFL's Los Angeles Rams.

The Soddy Daisy, Tenn. native earned his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018 and Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from ETSU in 2016.

Josh and his wife Makinzie currently reside in Johnson City.
