2023 Cross Country - Appeared in all six events for the Bucs … Made collegiate debut at 2023 Eye Opener XC Festival … Finished 27th at the SoCon Championship (26:13.9) … Set personal best 8K time with a mark of 26:09.9 at the Upstate Invitational … Posted a personal best 10K time at the NCAA Regional with a time of 33:25.0.

High School - Attended Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina, competing in Cross Country and Track and Field ... Was a member of the 2022 4A State Champion Cross Country Team ... Earned Cross Country All-Academic honors in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 ... Also earned the NCHSAA State 4A 2022 Sportsmanship Award ... Joins the Buccaneers with a personal best of 15:32 in the 5K (Cross Country), and Track and Field personal bests of 9:12.84 in the 3200 meters and 4:18.43 in the 1600 meters.

Personal - Born January 10, 2005 ... Son of Leo and Heather Young ... His Twin brother Liam Young also competes for the Buccaneers in Cross Country and Track and Field.
