EUGENE, Ore. (June 27, 2009)- Senior Heidi Dahl's (Orem, Utah) remarkable collegiate track and field career came to an end on Saturday evening, as the Lady Buccaneer runner placed seventh in the finals of the 1500m at the USA National Championships, located inside Hayward Field.
Dahl, who was looking to finish in the top three and secure a spot to the IAAF World Championships, recorded a new personal best and ETSU record after being clocked in at 4:11.58. The Orem, Utah native was the second collegiate runner to finish the race, as Stanford's Lauren Centrowitz placed sixth in 4:11.21.

Dahl's impressive year with the Lady Buccaneer track and field team included trips to the Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Championships, and she achieved numerous accolades along the way.
