"Flordia International are a good team, ranked 22 in the country. It was our first real full match outside and we just weren't crisp with out shots today," said head coach Steve Brooks. "It has been a good indoor season and it is good to start the outdoor season, the girls weren't used to the heat, but we will make good adjustments. The girls are going to work hard, put a lot into their hitting and it should pay off on against Stetson on Friday. We just left a lot of shots out there today, we were set up, we had advantages but we just didn't get it done. We can't take anything away from Florida International, they are a very good outdoor team were just very tough today."

ETSU women's tennis will face Stetson University on Friday, March 10 in DeLand, Fla.
