Blacksburg, Va. -- Competition continued Saturday for the East Tennessee State University women's tennis team in the Virginia Tech Invitational. Jessica Irey played against Danielle Hock of Marshall in the second round of the Flight A Consolation round. Irey lost to Hock in two sets, 3-6, 2-6. In the Flight B Consolation round, Aimee Villavicencio lost to Renata Hlavova of Hampton in two sets. Villavicencio had a rough match and was defeated by the score of 0-6, 1-6. The women's tennis team travels to Campbell University to compete in the NISBET Tournament on Oct 5-6, 2001.
