JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 21, 2013) – Riding a four-match unbeaten streak, ETSU will host Tennessee Tech at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22. Prior to the match, the team will honor its outgoing senior class.

SENIOR DAY

  • The 2013 senior class is the winningest class in ETSU Women’s Soccer program history (36 wins) and is made up of the following student-athletes:
    • Lindsay Bickel (Hampstead, Md.)
    • Hannah Goffe (Birmingham, England)
    • Lucy Goffe (Birmingham, England)
    • Tori Head (Kingsport, Tenn.)
    • Samantha Kron (Paradise Valley, Ariz.)
    • Rachel Lewis (Sandy Spring, Md.)
    • Charlotte Summerall (St. Augustine, Fla.)
    • Molly Vaughn (Nashville, Tenn.)

LAST TIME OUT

  • The Buccaneers (4-3-1) knocked off Francis Marion, 2-0, remaining unbeaten at Summers-Taylor Stadium in 2013.
  •  Ellis Parsons (Cardiff, Wales) and Kristi Davis (Edmond, Okla.) were the two goal scorers for the Bucs, while Hannah Short (Bristol, England) assisted on both goals.
  • Davis leads ETSU with five goals this season.
  • Short has recorded at least one point in all three games she has played since returning from injury.
  • Freshman goalkeeper Anna Yancey (Rosemark, Tenn.) recorded her third shutout of the season.
  • In four starts this season, Yancey has allowed just one goal.
