JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 25, 2010) - For the second time this season, senior Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.) was named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Week announced the conference office on Monday.

"To be named the A-Sun Player of the Week twice in one season is tough to do," said head coach Heather Henson. "I am very proud of Terri. This honor is a reflection of how hard she has worked this year to help the team reach the postseason. Hopefully we can use this momentum as we face Kennesaw State this weekend in the A-Sun Tournament"

Miller's goal in the first overtime period against USC Upstate propelled the Bucs (8-7-2, 4-5-1 A-Sun) into the A-Sun tournament for the fourth time in the last five years. On the season, Miller has posted six goals including two game-winners as she is tied for the team lead with freshman Ramey Kerns (Kings Mountain, N.C.).

The Cape Coral, Fla. native was also named the A-Sun POTW on Sept. 13 after scoring two goals against Winthrop including an overtime game-winner against the Eagles.

The Buccaneers return to action this Saturday as they head to Kennesaw, Ga. to face Kennesaw State in the Atlantic Sun Tournament Quarterfinals.
