ETSU women's soccer to face Charleston Southern in exhibition
Thursday, August 12, 2010 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 11, 2010) - The ETSU women's soccer team is set to face Charleston Southern in an exhibition match slated for 4 p.m. on Thursday at Buccaneer Field in Charleston, S.C.
The contest against Charleston Southern is one of two exhibitions the Bucs will play before opening the season on the road at UNC Asheville on Aug. 22. CSU is coming off of a 12-6-1 record in 2009 as the Bucs were picked to finish second in the Big South this year. Charleston Southern is led by Marky Boyce, the 2009 Big South Player of the Year, as she netted 14 goals with seven assists a year ago.
