NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2009) - After picking up its first Atlantic Sun Conference win last week, the ETSU women's soccer team contiunes its quest for a A-Sun title as they travel for a 7:30 p.m., match Friday at Belmont.

After battling through the toughest non-conference schedule in school history the Bucs (2-8-0, 1-1-0 A-Sun) split a pair league contests last weekend. ETSU earned its first three conference points with a 1-0 double overtime win over North Florida last Friday, before falling to Jacksonville 2-0 Sunday.

Individually, sophomore keeper Megan Masch (Virginia Beach, Va.), contiunes to dominate the conference with a league-best 70 saves. Overall, the second-year starter also leads the A-Sun in saves per match, in addition to sitting fourth among league keepers in save percentage.

Offensively, junior forward Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.) leads the Buc attack after scoring the game-winning goal against the Lady Ospreys. Currently, the crafty back is tied for the team lead in goals, while leading ETSU in game winners.

Belmont (5-4-1, 2-0-0 A-Sun) welcomes the Bucs to the Witten Soccer Complex after winning four straight contests. The red-hot Bruins earned their second A-Sun win Tuesday, a 2-0 victory over conference foe Lipscomb.

Individually, junior midfielder Jayme Trocino has been the biggest part of the Bruins success. The Franklin, Tenn., native currently leads the A-Sun with seven goals, after scoring at least one goal in the Bruins last four consecutive contests.

In their last meeting the Bucs dropped Belmont 1-0 last October. In that critical match senior forward Jordan Monty (Mesquite, Texas) netted the game-winning goal in the 24th minute. Overall, ETSU leads Belmont - the defending A-Sun Tournament champs - 5-4-0.

On a side note, Friday's contest should be a special match for Rick and Karen Musacchio. The match will mark the first time that the couples two daughters, ETSU freshman midfielder Kathy Musacchio (Nashville, Tenn.) and Belmont senior forward Annie Musacchio, will compete against one another.
