JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 7, 2003) - East Tennessee State University's women's soccer team traveled to Kingsport on Wednesday to run a small clinic for 60 young girls from the Kingsport Girls Inc.

"This was a great opportunity for our team," Buccaneer coach Heather Henson said. "Our girls love giving back to the game."

The Buccaneers taught their young fans the basic fundamentals of soccer: dribbling, passing, heading, juggling and playing the game. After the clinic the girls sat down for a question and answer and autograph session with the Buccaneers.

"The team really enjoys it and do a great job," Henson said. "They remember what it meant to them when they were young."
