JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 7, 2003) - East Tennessee State University's head women's soccer coach Heather Henson announced Friday that 10 student-athletes have made commitments to join the Buccaneer program in 2003. The 2003 class should showcase speed and athleticism as six of the ten student-athletes ran track, cross-country or both and eight are multi-sport athletes. "We are thrilled to have the commitments of the newest Buccaneers", Henson said. "They are going to add even more athleticism to our team and a great work ethic." Seven out of the ten have participated on club teams that are regionally ranked, and five have been ranked nationally. Seven have also won state championships with their respective club teams.
