ETSU women's soccer heads to the River City

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2010) -
The ETSU women's soccer team is set face North Florida and Jacksonville in a couple Atlantic Sun conference matches as the Bucs head to Jacksonville, Fla. this weekend.
 
The Bucs take on the Ospreys at 7 p.m. on Friday, while Sunday's contest against the Dolphins is slated for 1 p.m.
 
ETSU (6-3-1, 2-1-0 A-Sun) went 1-1 last weekend defeating Lipscomb 2-0 before dropping a heartbreaker to Belmont 3-2 in double overtime. Senior Terri Miller (Cape Coral, Fla.) had two goals in the game against the Bruins to give her five on the year.
 
The Bucs are 2-3-0 all-time against North Florida and 2-4-2 against Jacksonville. Since joining the A-Sun, ETSU has gone 27-27-5 in conference play.
 
North Florida (3-8-0, 2-2-0 A-Sun) also split a pair of matches last weekend as the Ospreys defeated Mercer 1-0 before falling to Kennesaw State 1-0. UNF is led by Carolina Lencina as she has three goals, two assists and eight points on the season.
 
Jacksonville (6-4-2, 2-1-1 A-Sun) comes into the weekend having gone 2-1 in its last three contests. The Dolphins defeated both Stetson and Kennesaw 1-0 before coming up short against Mercer 1-0. JU's Lisa Hensley is tied for the Atlantic Sun lead in goal with five.
