MACON, Ga. (March 28, 2012) – For the third time this season, ETSU freshman Gabriella Wahl (Heidenheim, Germany) has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.

Wahl earned her third A-Sun honor of the year in record fashion earlier this week, setting a new program mark for three-round score thanks to a 7-under-par 209 effort in the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate at the Eagle’s Landing Country Club.

Each of the three rounds Wahl carded over the last week bested par, and she was par or better on 51 of the 54 holes she played en route to winning her first collegiate individual title.

Wahl and the rest of the Buccaneers will return to action on April 9 at the A-Sun Championships in Deland, Fla. ETSU fans can stay up-to-date on the Bucs’ progress by visiting
