GREENVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 22, 2005) - The ETSU women's golf team remains 13th on the team leaderboard in the Taco Bell Intercollegiate following Saturday's second round at the par-72, 6,232-yard Bradford Creek Golf Course.
Georgia State pushed into the team lead after firing a team score of 290 on the second day and currently holds a six-stroke advantage over second-place Maryland. On the individual leaderboard, Katie Stepanke of Maryland holds a six-stroke lead over three other players tied for second.
The top ETSU performance of the day came from freshman Lucy Gould (Bargoed, Wales), who fired a career-best 1-over 73 to move up to a team-best standing of tied for 22nd. Along with Gould, senior Ashley Barton (Seffner, Fla.) is currently tied for 27th.
