Lady Bucs currently 13th at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

SAN JUAN, P.R. (Feb. 25, 2006) - The ETSU women's golf team improved by three strokes over Friday's first round score of 319, but the team still dropped back a spot to 13th during Saturday's second round play at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.

 

Senior Ashley Barton (Seffner, Fla.) continues to post the Lady Bucs' best individual score, as she is tied for 34th at 153. Florida currently leads the team leaderboard by one stroke over Purdue, while Arkansas' Amanda McCurdy leads the individual competition with a two-round score of 140.

 

Along with Barton, sophomore Maria Ringdahl (Oland, Sweden) is currently tied for 43rd, senior Laura Diaz (Aguadilla, P.R.) is tied for 72nd, and sophomore Natalia Giraldo (Cali, Colombia) and freshman Lucy Gould (Bargoed, Wales) are tied for 77th.
