HATTIESBURG, Miss. (April 8, 2003) - During first round play Monday at the Southern Miss Lady Eagle Invitational, East Tennessee State University sophomore Alysa Few (London, Ontario Canada) became only the second Lady Buc player ever to score a hole-in-one. The ace came on the 17th hole, a 110-yard Par 3. For the event, Few finished tied for 12th at 6-over-par (38-39=78). Few joins Shannon Ferdinand (1995-'98) as the only two ETSU players ever to record a hole-in-one. Ferdinand's ace came in the 1994 Tennessee Tech-Vanderbilt Classic on Sept. 17 in Cookeville, Tenn.
