Monday, October 29, 2001STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - East Tennessee State's women's golf team began play today at the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State. The Bucs fired a first-round total of 335, placing them seventh after day one of the 36-hole event. Princeton and host Georgia State share the first-round lead with both shooting a 318. Individually, senior Mimmie Dymling (Sollentuna, Sweden) led ETSU by shooting a 78 on the par-72 course at Eagles Landing Country Club, placing her in a tie for fourth, just four shots off the leader. Catalina Zuluaga (Cali, Colombia) and Kristen Fletcher (Cookeville, Tenn.) both tied for 29th with 85s. Rounding out the scores for the Bucs were an 87 by Alysa Few (London, Ontario), tying her for 37th, and an 89 from Danielle O'Reilly (Whistler, British Colombia), good for a tie for 40th.
