Camps span 10 days throughout June and to begin August

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 6, 2014) – The ETSU women’s basketball program is set to welcome campers from varying age and skill levels in three separate camping experiences throughout the month of June and to begin August.

The first in the series of camps will be a Future Buccaneer Camp, June 7 and 14, for boys and girls ages 5 – 13. The cost is $50 per camper with discounts given to siblings and children of ETSU employees. The camps on June 7 will be held in two different locations; YMCA of Bristol Wellness Center from 8 a.m. - noon and Kingsport Parks and Recreation V.O. Dobbins Senior Complex from 2 – 6 p.m. Exactly one week later, the camp will be offered at the Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton from 8 a.m. – noon. To register and/or learn more about the camp click here.

A Team Camp will be offered June 16 – 20 inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center. The camp is available for middle school, junior varsity, and varsity high school teams. A per player fee will be assessed, with discounts given to teams that bring 13 or more players. Pricing details and registration are available here.

To begin the month of August, campers will be able to spend a day in the life of an ETSU women’s basketball student-athlete in The Buccaneer Experience. The camp, designed for highly-experienced players in grades 9 -12, is separated into two different two-day sessions based on grade level. On August 1 – 2, players in grades 11 – 12 will be welcomed, followed by players in grades 9 – 10 taking part from August 2 – 3. Costs for the Experience are $75 per camper before August 1 and $100 per camper at open registration. To register for the camp click here.
