MACON, Ga. (Oct. 12, 2012) – The Atlantic Sun Conference released its fan voting polls for the preseason men’s and women’s basketball awards, and junior ETSU women’s basketball Destiny Mitchell (Bluffton, Ga.) was one of the nominees for Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, while ETSU men’s basketball senior Sheldon Cooley was one of the nominees for Defensive Player of the Year.

The fan voting results will be announced when the league office releases their preseason honors on Thursday, Aug. 18.
