Lady Bucs announce schedule change

ETSU to play at Appalachian State on November 21

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 26, 2011) – An old Southern Conference rivalry will continue this upcoming season as ETSU women’s basketball head coach Karen Kemp announced Monday afternoon the Lady Bucs will travel to Boone, N.C. for a non-conference game with Appalachian State on Monday, Nov. 21. The Lady Bucs and Mountaineers will tip-off at 6 p.m. inside Holmes Arena.  

Prior to the showdown with Appalachian State, the Lady Bucs play in the Preseason WNIT with ETSU hosting Tennessee Tech on Friday, Nov. 11.

The Lady Bucs and Mountaineers have met at least once since the start of the 1978-79 season.

ETSU begins official practice early next month and the Lady Bucs open their season with a pair of exhibition games against Carson-Newman (Nov. 3) and King College (Nov. 7).
