Ticket plans announced for NCAA Tournament

Monday, March 08, 2010

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 8, 2010) - With both men's and women's basketball teams advancing to NCAA postseason play, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced procedures for taking ticket orders and how those requests will be met.

Beginning on Tuesday, March 9, fans can call the ETSU ticket office at 423-439-ETSU (3878) and request to be put on the "waiting" list for NCAA tickets. Once the NCAA informs the ETSU athletic department of the number of tickets available for both the men's and women's events, the process of determining priority for those tickets will begin.

The Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association Points System will be used to issue tickets in a priority order. Once all BASA members with earned points have received their tickets, then the remaining tickets will be made available to the general public. In addition, a select number of tickets will be available for students, with student members of Buc Wild receiving the first opportunity to purchase those tickets.

Again, for questions please contact the ETSU ticket office at 423-439-ETSU (3878).
