Blue/Gold basketball scrimmages to highlight athletic events at this weekend's Buccaneer Bash

Homecoming activities include soccer, volleyball and BASA Barbeque JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2007) -With the start of the 2007-08 basketball season just around the corner, the ETSU men's and women's basketball teams will give fans an early preview of the upcoming season this Saturday, Oct. 20 inside Memorial Center. The two teams will hold their annual Blue-Gold scrimmages as part of ETSU's Buccaneer Bash Homecoming weekend, with the game benefiting the Children's Hospital at the Basketball scrimmages are not the only athletic activities scheduled as part of the weekend. In addition, the women's soccer team will host Mercer at Summers-Taylor Stadium beginning at Tickets for the BASA Barbeque catered by Firehouse Restaurant are $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free.
