ETSU basketball to host Blue-Gold Game Saturday, Oct. 29

(Oct. 27, 2005) - With the start of the 2005-06 basketball season just around the corner, the ETSU men's and women's basketball teams will give fans an early preview of the upcoming season Oct. 29 inside Memorial Center.

 

The two teams will hold their annual Blue-Gold Scrimmage to benefit the Children's Hospital at the Johnson City Medical Center as part of ETSU's Family Fall Festival weekend. Tip for the women's scrimmage will be 1:30 p.m., with the men's scrimmage to follow at 4 p.m. Tickets are $2, with proceeds going to the Children's Hospital.

 

Radio station WJCW AM 910 will cover the event from 3-5 in the afternoon with voice of the Bucs Jay Sandos calling the action.

 

Promotions, giveaways, and other surprises will also be a part of this event.
