Lady Bucs' weekend games to be played in Brooks Gym

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (January 17, 2006) - After picking up a big road victory over Kennesaw State on Monday, the Lady Bucs will return to Johnson City for a pair of Atlantic Sun games against Campbell and Garder-Webb this weekend. Due to the Niswonger Invitational in Memorial Center, both women's basketball contests will be played in Brooks Gym.

           

The Lady Bucs draw the third-ranked Fighting Camels (6-9, 5-2 A-Sun) on Jan. 19, with a 7 p.m. tipoff.  After that, ETSU will take on the Running Bulldogs on Jan. 21, at 2 p.m.  Gardner-Webb currently owns sixth place in the conference standings at 5-9 overall, 4-3 in conference.

           

ETSU recently took over sole possession of first place in the A-Sun, with a 69-55 win over Kennesaw State on Jan. 16.  The Lady Bucs are 10-4, 6-1 in the A-Sun, with Florida Atlantic right on their heels at 5-1 in the conference.
