JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 16, 2013) – Each week during the volleyball season members of the ETSU volleyball team will be featured in a segment called “Getting to Know You.”

The seventh player to be featured is freshman defensive specialist/libero Renzey Rice (Johnson City, Tenn.). During the preseason, the players were given the questionnaire, which can be found below, and each of them submitted their answers. Below are the responses by Rice:

What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?

  • Visit all the places I’ve pinned on Pinterest.

If you could be on any reality TV show what would it be and why?

  • I’m not a fan of reality TV.

What is one thing you can’t live without and why?

  • My family, because I can always get great advice from any of them.

If you were stranded on an island what are two things you would bring with you?

  • Unlimited food and a boat.

Is there any meaning behind your number you wear?

  • Well... number 11 was taken, so 8 was the closest.

If you could be one person for a day, who would you be and why?

  • I don’t want to be anyone else.  

If you weren’t playing volleyball, what sport would you play?

  • Soccer!

Do you have a gameday tradition?

  • I like to eat before I play.

What are your plans after graduation? 

  • I plan to get a career and possibly continue to play.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

  • I don’t have a gallbladder.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the off-season?

  • Sleep!
