Volleyball announces 2013 schedule

Devine, Hardy Receive Gamecock Invitational All-Tournament Team Honors

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Aug. 26, 2012) – Junior outside hitter Megan Devine (Kingsport, Tenn.) and sophomore middle blocker Meredith Hardy (Kingsport, Tenn.) helped guide the ETSU volleyball team to three wins at the season opening Gamecock Invitational, and at the conclusion of play late Saturday night the Buccaneer tandem were selected to the all-tournament team.


ETSU splits on final day of Gamecock Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Aug. 25, 2012) – Following a grueling four-set win (27-25, 23-25, 25-13, 29-27) over Akron in their opening match on Saturday, the Buccaneer volleyball team couldn’t cap off another sweep as ETSU saw its rally fall short to host South Carolina, 3-2 (19-25, 14-25, 25-22, 26-24, 9-15) in the final match of the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

(Aug. 24, 2012) – After dropping the first two sets in its season-opening match versus UNC Asheville, the ETSU volleyball team showed its never-give-up character as the Bucs rallied for a thrilling five-set win over the Bulldogs (17-25, 14-25, 25-17, 25-21, 15-10) on Friday morning at the Gamecock Invitational.


ETSU volleyball opens 2012 season this weekend in South Carolina

Devine named A-Sun Preseason Player of the Year; Bucs picked third

MACON, Ga. (Aug. 10, 2012) – The Atlantic Sun Conference continued releasing its preseason awards on Friday as the league office announced their volleyball honors. Junior outside hitter Megan Devine (Kingsport, Tenn.) was named Preseason Player of the Year by the coaches, while ETSU was picked to finish third.
