JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 21, 2009) - The ETSU volleyball team will look to increase its win streak to three games Tuesday at 7p.m., as the Bucs head to Boone, N.C. to take on former Southern Conference rival Appalachian State in a non-conference match.

The Bucs (5-7, 4-1 A-Sun) picked up two big conference wins this past weekend defeating Kennesaw State 3-1 and Mercer 3-0 on the road to move into third place in the Atlantic Sun. The Bucs are led by Amanda Youell (Middleburg, Fla.) who is third in the A-Sun with 406 assists.

ETSU is 16-37 all-time against the Mountaineers, but won the last meeting between the two teams 3-2 at home.

Appalachian State (3-10, 0-0 SoCon) has lost its last four matches after going 0-3 at the Black and Gold Challenge at Wake Forest this past weekend. The Mountaineers are led by senior Maja Jechorek who has a team leading 128 kills.
