, Tenn. (Sept. 22, 2007) - The ETSU volleyball team extended their record home winning streak to 13 games sweeping North Florida in Brooks Gym on Saturday, 30-23, 30-21, 30-27.

"When you look at the stats Callie did a great job in the middle for us," said head coach Lindsey Devine. "When Callie is able to get into a rhythm and we are able to get her the ball consistently she can be great."

The Bucs were led by senior Callie Kiselich (Colorado Springs, Colo.), who had a double-double collecting 19 kills and 10 digs. Freshman Erin Ryan (Davie, Fla.), picked right up from where she left off Friday with 13 kills. Freshman Laura Waddell (Lynchburg, Va.), tallied eight kills for the Bucs.

"Again Erin Ryan did a great job for us," Devine said. "Whitney Cogburn (Kingsport, Tenn.), had some great swings for us, and Dani Howe (Hermitage, Tenn.), was great with ball control and serves."

Sophomore Amanda Youell (Middleburg, Fla.), had a third consecutive double-double with 39 assists and 14 digs. Youell also had four kills and a service ace for the Bucs. Senior Kaena Apana (Waianae, Hawaii), led the Bucs defense with 19 digs.

"Amanda is still learning, but at key times she really makes some great decisions," Devine said. "She is running with it, and she wants the team to know she can get the job done."

With the win the Bucs improve to 10-7 and 2-0 in conference play. The Bucs look to keep their three game winning-streak going as they head on the road to Cullowhee, N.C. to take on the Western Carolina Catamounts at 7 p.m.
