WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Sept. 20, 2004) - While competing at the Mortar Board Premier, hosted by Purdue University last weekend, Jennifer Sartor (Toronto, Canada) was honored with a place on the All-Tournament Team comprised of participants from Kentucky, Purdue, Central Michigan and ETSU. The announcement marks the second week in the row a member of the Lady Bucs squad has been honored with tournament accolades.

"Overall Jen played consistent in our matches this weekend. We played against a very high level of competition and her numbers reflect her hard work throughout the weekend," head coach Lindsey Devine said.

Sartor posted 24 kills, nine total blocks and a combined 29 digs throughout weekend competition. Her best offensive performance of the weekend came against the Boilermakers where she managed a .333 hitting percentage averaging a 2.18 kills per game average. Thus far in 2004, Sartor boasts a team-high hitting percentage of .220 with 94 kills and a team-high 32.0 total blocks heading into Southern Conference competition this weekend.

The Lady Bucs will host Appalachian State Friday, Sept. 24 in their home opener of the 2004 season. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Brooks Gymnasium, and will welcome the Western Carolina Catamounts on Sept 25. at 2:00 p.m. This weekend will also play host to Alumni Weekend festivities.
