Johnson City, Tenn. -- The East Tennessee State volleyball team went undefeated in a tri-match Wednesday evening from Brooks Gym.

The Buccaneers defeated UNC-Asheville 30-27 and 30-26 in the first match. In the second match, ETSU defeated King College 31-29 and 30-26.

Junior Amber Ciskowski and freshman Kate Steidle played very consistent to lead the team to victory. "Rachel Shifflet contributed several key kills for us," said ETSU assistant coach Shannon Mincey. "Carey Cavanaugh also did a great job running the offense for us."

The Bucs return to action on April 21 as they travel to Coastal Carolina where they will face N.C. State, Coastal Carolina, The Citadel and UNC Wilmington.
