ETSU softball looks to get back on track Saturday against Presbyterian

Massenzo Friday, March 19, 2010 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 19, 2010) - After being swept by Liberty in their home-opener Tuesday, the Lady Buccaneer softball team looks to get back into the win column Saturday afternoon when ETSU hosts Presbyterian. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 3 p.m. at the ETSU Softball Complex. The Lady Bucs belted four home runs against ETSU (9-15) is currently led by the strong offensive output of senior Trisha Massenzo ( Meanwhile, Presbyterian has won four of its last six games and enters Saturday's doubleheader with a record of 8-5. The Blue Hose are led by junior third baseman Taylor Staten and senior first baseman Rachel Parker. Both players are hitting .400, while Staten leads the team with 14 hits. In addition, Presbyterian's pitching has a team ERA of 2.22 and sophomore right-hander Leslie Hensley is boasting a 3-2 record with 1.14 ERA (5 ER/30.2 IP).
