Lady Bucs and Belmont to play two on Easter Sunday

Friday, April 10, 2009

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 10, 2009) - Following the doubleheader with Lipscomb on Friday afternoon, the ETSU softball team learned its games with Belmont have been moved from Saturday to Easter Sunday. First pitch of the double-dip is set for 2 p.m. at the ETSU Softball Complex.

Belmont and USC Upstate were scheduled to play two on Friday afternoon in Spartanburg, S.C.; however, Mother Nature played its course and cancelled the series. Therefore, the games have been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon, and pushed the Belmont/ETSU series (which was originally scheduled for Saturday) to Sunday at 2 and 4 p.m.

Senior Day festivities are still going to take place on Sunday, as Jessie Hackworth (Clinton, Tenn.), Vicki McCoy (Ringgold, Ga.), Kate Powell (Johnson City) and Cat Zyskowski (Grand Rapids, Mich.) will all be honored with a special pregame ceremony.
