, MS. (Nov. 4, 2004) - Two senior members from the 2003-2004 Lady Bucs softball team have been honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for their academic success throughout their senior year.  Receiving the honors for the Bucs were Sheryl Clark (Bradenton, Fla.) and Rhea Holler (Peoria, Ariz.), who both posted better than a 3.5 grade point average during the 2003-2004 academic school year.

"I am very proud of Sheryl and Rhea for their efforts last year in the classroom.  Their hard work and dedication are great examples of excelling both on and off the field as a student-athlete," head coach Amy Fuller said.

The 2005 Lady Bucs softball prospectus is now available on the internet home of Buccaneer athletics, www.ETSUBucs.com, located on the softball home page.  ETSU will begin their 2005 spring season with a trip to Chapel Hill, N.C. where they will face Radford on Feb. 11th at 10:30 a.m. competing in the UNC Triangle Classic.
