ETSU softball at Winthrop Ringor Invitational

ROCK HILL, S.C. (March 12, 2005) - After completing day two of competition at the Winthrop Ringor Invitational this afternoon, the Lady Bucs softball squad has posted a 2-2 record thus far in pool play.  With day-one victories over Charleston Southern (8-1) and Gardner Webb (8-5), and day-two losses to Eastern Carolina (3-0) and Akron (5-0), ETSU enters Sunday competition with an overall 8-12 record thus far in 2005. 

 

Day one highlights included a trio of Lady Bucs posting homeruns.  Janine Sprague (Hillsborough, N.C.), Lindsay Lane (Irwin, Tenn.) and Stephanie Gaynord (Manassas, Va.) each registered one homer, en-route to two Lady Bucs victories.
