Funds raised will benefit the Kickoff Fund

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 7, 2013) – Approximately 65 participants were on hand at the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center Saturday morning for the first-ever ETSU Ladies’ Football Clinic.

Participants included ETSU employees, students and fans wishing to learn more about the game of football. During the clinic, the ladies were educated by members of the ETSU football coaching staff, support staff, officials and other former college football coaches.

“I am really pleased with the turnout we had today for the football clinic,” said ETSU head football coach Carl Torbush. “It was evident that the ladies were enjoying themselves and were learning a lot about the game of football. I am confident that with the response we got today, the event will only continue to grow in the future.”

In another effort to raise money for the Kickoff Fund, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics reached out to the community and got a positive response once again. To contribute to the Kickoff Fund, click here and stay tuned to ETSUBucs.com for coming events.
