Tee Times Announced for 2013 Open Championship

ETSU rising junior Rhys Pugh tees off Thursday morning at 7:28 (EST)

GULLANE, Scotland (July 15, 2013) – Tee times for the 2013 Open Championship at Muirfield were released Monday, and East Tennessee State University rising junior Rhys Pugh (Pontypridd, Wales) is scheduled to tee off Thursday morning at 7:28 (EST).

Pugh, who secured a spot in golf’s oldest Major Championship after winning the 2012 European Amateur Championship, is paired with 1997 Open Championship winner Justin Leonard (USA) and 2009 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Marc Leishman (AUS).

Pugh had a practice time on Monday at 9:40 a.m. (EST) and is scheduled to take to the course again Tuesday at 2:30 a.m. (EST).

The groupings were announced Monday afternoon at Muirfield – the site of the Open for the 16th time – and run from 6:32 a.m. until 4:13 p.m. (BST), with all 52 threesomes playing from the first tee.
