ETSU head coach to assist with USA Volleyball next week at the 2014 NORCECA Women’s U-18 Continental Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 17, 2014) – For the third consecutive year, ETSU volleyball head coach Lindsey Devine will continue her stint with the U.S. Girls’ Youth National Team.

Devine, who is fresh off guiding the U.S. National Team to a gold medal at last month’s NORCECA World Championship Qualification Tournament, will assist the U.S. Youth National Team at the 2014 NORCECA Women’s U-18 Continental Championship, which is held June 22-30 in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Last summer, Devine helped direct the U.S. Youth National Team to a silver medal at the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U-18 World Championship, while being part of the European Global Challenge in 2012.

The U.S. has won six consecutive NORCECA Women’s U-18 Continental Championships and seven total in the eight previous editions. The Americans won the event in 2012 and went on to earn the silver medal at the 2013 FIVB Women’s U-18 World Championship.
