Qualification Tournament to be held this weekend in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 13, 2014) – ETSU volleyball head coach Lindsey Devine will help coach the U.S. National Women’s Team at the NORCECA World Championship Qualification Tournament, which will be held May 15-18 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

On Sunday, U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly announced the 12-player roster and coaching staff, and Devine was named one of the two assistants.

The U.S. Women – who rank second in the world – open pool play on May 15 against Guatemala, followed by Panama on May 16 and Honduras on May 17. All three U.S. pool matches are scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. The medal round matches take place on May 18 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.

The U.S. National Team will be playing for the automatic berth to the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship, which takes place in September and October in Italy.
